About LayerNomics

LayerNomics is a free filament price comparison tool for the UK 3D printing community, operated at layernomics.com. It lets you browse and compare filament prices across retailers, use a print cost calculator, and submit prices you have found.

By using LayerNomics you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Pricing data accuracy

Prices on LayerNomics are community-sourced and may be out of date, incorrect, or no longer available. We make no guarantee that any price shown is current or accurate. Always confirm the price directly with the vendor before purchasing.

LayerNomics is not a retailer. We do not process payments, hold stock, or fulfil orders. Links to vendor websites are provided for convenience only. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their pricing, availability, or terms.

Price submissions

If you submit a filament price you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, it is accurate and reflects a genuine, publicly available price at the time of submission. You must not submit false, misleading, or commercially motivated prices.

Submissions are reviewed by our team before publication. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any submission without explanation.

By submitting a price you grant LayerNomics a perpetual, royalty-free licence to display and use that data as part of the price index.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use the site in any way that is unlawful or harmful to others
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the site without our prior written permission
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the site or its infrastructure
• Submit prices to manipulate the price index for commercial advantage

Calculator

The print cost calculator is provided as a helpful estimation tool only. Results are based on the inputs you provide and catalogue prices that may not be current. We make no warranty as to the accuracy of any cost estimate produced by the calculator.

Intellectual property

The LayerNomics name, logo, site design, and original written content are our property. You may not reproduce LayerNomics's branding, design, or original content without our written permission.

Price data and product specifications are factual in nature and are not subject to copyright. Filament brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Limitation of liability

LayerNomics is provided "as is" without any warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on any price data shown, including losses arising from purchases made on the basis of inaccurate or outdated pricing information.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
